A promise is forever
or it's supposed to
I'm sorry I failed
you're gone now
and there is no room
to forgive
all my selfish actions
if you could only
be happy once again
I could fade out from this life
but it's too late
for the both of us
it was my job
to protect you
but I have failed once again
I pray that one day
when we meet again
our eyes will be filled with joy
and not pain
and that we will leave
behind all the suffering
