When she'll turn 12,
Some changes are going to occur,
They'll be unknown to her,
And the fear will make her suffer.
Mothers, you'll be the first she runs to,
Don't let it scare her, & tell her what her body is onto,
Tell her she is about to embark on a new journey,
From a girl to a woman now she'll start turning.
Listen to all the things that bothers her,
Tell her it's all natural and it's also good for her,
Place no restrictions as they'll bring her down,
Throw the taboos out of the windows that revolves around.
She'll be changing a lot, physically and mentally,
Mom you be there and bear with her totally,
Make her strong so that she doesn't feel ashamed,
Tell her it is not a sin it is just a part of life for them.
Now fathers and brothers please don't mistreat her,
Understand what she is going through and try to help her,
Break the patriarchy and focus on her well being,
She is a butterfly coming out of her cocoon help her to spread her wings.
