Years ago,
I gave up the opportunity of gaining what it is "to know."

I had never valued,
Nor did I have the main focus.
Is not that I felt lost,
I just did not see the purpose.

After much pain.
There is a gain.

I had enabled myself to understand.
What it takes to take a stand.

I started seeing the value.
A vision for what I wanted to pursue.

I never once regretted,
Spending ample amounts of time.
From library sessions to lecturers appointments.
I had gain knowledge in that what I knew was fully mine.

Now,
I continue seeking opportunities by understanding what it is "to know."
