Changes

Rating: 5.0

I sat all alone, while watching
In an almost complete darkness
The feeble, faint, flickering flames
Casting shadows. Oh! What sharpness!

The fire was almost dying,
When a gust of wind, whirled around
The flames, leapt like a fierce snake
Attacking whatever was found

Just like some people fire can change.
From warm, gentle and colourful
To something terrible, savage
Destructive, dangerous, hurtful…
