Changes In Life Poem by Lost River

I saw the need for a change
Because of constant pain
It was as if i could never let go
You see I loved you just so (____)

I knew it would be for love
I knew it would be for hate
Inside your soul?
Only you can change fate

There was so much that I didn't know
Like the Pilgrim when he found
Fools Gold
The mother lode of pain
Talk about cranking the handle
On the Jack in a Box
Or touching an electric fence

I guess there has to be a change
Don't be surprised just how much
Needs to be rearranged
