Changing My Mind Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Changing My Mind

Seconds intertwine into hours of time.
Controlling each inward breath of mine.
Without conscious choice I have found…
My love for you had my heart spellbound.

It was never my intention to fall for you.
When I saw you, I denied that it could be true.
As the days passed by we became attracted.
Resistance diminished and opposites reacted.

Reminiscing, I still find fate to be confusing
How did love fuse when all logic was refusing?
The rationale is beyond human explanation.
Clearly, attraction can create a transformation.
