Charisma Of The First Rain Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

Charisma Of The First Rain

The chilled plummet of the first rain
Descended slowly, fell in a bed of leaf
The leaf caught the pretty pearl
Crystal dew was thus formed

Singing cuckoos, dancing peacocks
The splendor trees magnetized by the tune
A symphony of nature was going on
The rejuvenated souls, the sorrows gone

It was indeed an elating sight
The delighted sun slowly came out
It peeped and witnessed a miraculous vista
Was thoroughly stunned by the splendid beauty

A vibrant rainbow was thus formed
It painted the sky with the astonishing colors
It painted the hearts with new spirits
It was the charisma of the first rain
