Charity Poem by Felix Otiende

Charity

CHARITY

Jaber Nyaloka,
She is a Luo queen from south Nyanza,
Always tolerant and kind

She understands me,
The one who has nurses my wounds,
My heart's neurosurgeon,

Mom I wish you could see her,
She has mastered my humble background,
Cooking with firewood,

We sleep on mat,
She see us on queen's bed soon,
She has been my pivot,

Your generosity will rule my kinsmen,
Dear beloved, your story will remain in my father's house,
Am committed to you until the curtain of life calls
