Charity In Chains Poem by Binu Mathew

Charity In Chains

Rating: 5.0

I know, dear lady,
Words can't hold or heal your pain,
Inflicted by war and devastation.
My heart is eager to fall,
Like a soothing shower on your
Arid land of misfortune,
But hands are in chains,
Bound by political pressures.
