Cheating Poem by sashana davis

Cheating

Am standing across and empty room
I felt as lonely as the moon surrounded by its stars

My dreams have turned in to utter nightmares
My nightmares have turned into reality

My passion is subsided by grief
My grief subsided by sorrow

Losing my companion. my lover, my friend
The depths of his eyes
Only speak the truth
My temptation got the best of me
the pleasure was a mere ecstasy

At a loss for words longing for the touch of the man looking at me with disgust
How can I be so stupid to violate his trust

Time no longer has meaning our kids were just a blessing
Am left with the lonely emptiness and regret
My arms wrapped around him ment nothing
All we felt was a bitter sweet kiss knowing it only ment goodbye
