Cheese Today Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Cheese Today

Cheese today on my lips,
savory fur filling of body,
grapes please to wash down,
the palette,
some bread to feed my soul,
it is so lonely you know,
not a great feast,
but a good treat,
cheese today is my little retreat,
from my worries and woes,
living on the this moon.
for way to long,
but will be home soon.
