Cherokee Wind Poem by John Orr

Cherokee Wind

Rating: 5.0

Can I fly swift,
And race to the sky?
Soar to the sun,
Without batting an eye?

Or call to a life mate,
And let my voice ring?
Ride the cool breeze,
Without flapping a wing?

To fly around loose,
Unchained or unpinned?
And soar again free,
On Cherokee Wind.
