Cherry Blossom Tears Poem by Ivan @lyfequoting

Cherry Blossom Tears

The cherry blossom petals fall like tears from the sky,
As I watch the world blur past through my weary eyes,
The train rattles on, taking me further away,
From the place where my heart yearns to stay.

I think of you as I stare out the window,
Your smile, your touch, the memories that flow,
Like a river that runs through my soul,
Carrying me away to a place that feels whole.

But time is a cruel and fickle friend,
And distance is a chasm that seems to never end,
No matter how much I try to bridge the divide,
The gap between us seems to only widen inside.

The seasons change, the colors fade,
And yet my love for you remains unafraid,
Of the passing of days and the weight of time,
For I know that my heart will forever be thine.

So I watch the world blur past through my weary eyes,
As the cherry blossom petals fall like tears from the sky,
And I hold onto the hope that someday,
We will find our way back to each other, one day.
