Cherry Trees Poem by Angel Roth

Cherry Trees

Rating: 5.0

hypocro -
see it how you wish,
belief in fairies
who drag you down to
mud pies and climbing cherry trees.
ha! there you have faith
in belief
in fairies and
hippos
crossing
seas.
see
how you might
blind
bat chasing your own tail.
ah! your tale
woe to those who find any
thing of meaning there
where the ripe red cherries fall
to thorny putrid ground
of little -
no worth
no meaning here
in this grove of scattered
deceiv'd cherry trees.
