Childhood Courtesy Poem by Kirsten Coar

Childhood Courtesy

Take thy hand of an elder
Whom ye passed by, and
Bring it towards your forehead;
An apropos of respect!
Never questioned thy face,
Never answered thy light
Esteem them as your highnesses;
A gracious child.
