Childhood Recalled. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Childhood Recalled.

Rating: 5.0

Seeing a skylark hovering.
Climbing above the canopy of trees.
Picking chestnuts in autumn.
Finding a birds nest.
Waking up on Christmas day with excitement and wonder.
Watching a western on TV!
Going on holiday to the seaside! Listening to my mother's laughter and funny stories!
Dancing with my grandmother!
Its all wrapped up in my heart and never forgotten!
