Children Have Tomorrow Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Children Have Tomorrow

We must pass on our happiness and our sorrows,
To our children, for they own tomorrow.
The world is now theirs to take care,
We did our best but now we must share.
The children hold the key to the truth.
The world is now theirs, for they have youth.
The world we had was just to borrow,
We must save what we have to pass on tomorrow.
The children hold the future in the palms of their hands.
They must work together and united they’ll stand
We must lead the children in the right direction,
By showing love and lots of affection.
The world belongs to the children we leave.
The future looks brighter, we all must believe.
