Childs Eyes - Poem by patricia merritt

A child see their mum
holding them close to
her breast.

Milk of life, frangrance
of a Mothers scent.

Lay her tiny one down
to rest.
Looks up at her smile
see the love in her eyes.

Kisses their cheeks
so tenderly, tucks them
in for the night.
Sleep in peace little
baby, not worry Mum
is close by.
