this is our world now
and small as the surface of a table;
but there is a wide world for all of us
when we grow up
for all the children of the world
for all nations, all peoples
to come round and share
in peace, in justice and freedom for all;
come, let us all learn that now
so that each is the light
that the world needs
in the new enlightenment
that will be led by the land of the Huang He and Yangtze
and the lands over the Himalayas
