Chinua Achebe!
Born, 'Albert Chiualumogu Achebe';
Love, peace, mind, vision, imagination!
'Magnum Opus',
To the World of Literature i do salute! !
And, in the name of the Great Sons and Daughters of Africa.
I am on the 'Narrow Path',
With the peace of my mind;
Writing and sharing out my viewsviews to all,
And, to dedicate this poem to the late 'Chinua Achebe'.
Expressions!
But, i am 'No Longer At Ease' with my mind;
And like, 'Things Fall Apart'.
Chinua Achebe!
'Things Fall Apart';
Works, poetry, generations! !
Playfellows and unpredictable,
But, death came along and took him away in his old age.
The 'Arrow of God'!
'No Longer At Ease',
'Things Fall Apart';
With the muse of literature to educate us all.
Mile, exile!
With the muse of my mind far beyond you;
Love!
What about you?
Story, history, glory!
But, moving on with my mind in peace.
'The Education of a British-Protected Child'!
With the story of the 'XX' and the 'XY' of birth;
And like the muse of 'Chinua Achebe'! !
But, gone too sooon at the age of 82.
'Things Fall Apart'!
This poem is dedicated to the late 'Chinua Achebe';
Play, lay! !
Thinking of the past;
Because, my mind is 'no LOnger At Ease'.
'The Smouldering log'!
Living in Africa with the muse of the heat;
Chinua Achebe! !
Great writer, leader, father and son of Africa;
But, the 'living fire begets cold'.
Pole, Polemical!
Of the expression,
Of the excursion,
With a Political language;
Ebullient!
Muse, fuse, unfuse, use, defuse, refuse;
Paradoxically,
The son of Africa! !
May his soul rest in peace.
