Chocolate Diamond Poem by Jimmy L. Lyons

Chocolate Diamond

The lady's beautiful in her gorgeous red dress -
she brings Melissa Morgan, the singer, to my mind.
I love the chocolate diamond ring she wears -
she looks so elegant, and she acts so refined.

I would love to have her on the dance floor with me -
I want to say, "Baby, get up and dance with me tonight."
I want her for my lady; I want to be her baby -
seeing her with me would be a beautiful sight.

The lady has beautiful, sparkling eyes;
they light up her face like a rainbow in the sky.
They make my heart skip a beat and start to sing;
they're as beautiful as her chocolate diamond ring;

God, watch over this lady - I want her to be blessed.
