Choice Poem by Daniel Stobbs

Choice

Some people choose to go through life like a lambo on the freeway,
Some have no choice,

Some people choose the oxen with a plough in tow sweating and cursing,
Some don’t have that way out,

Some people choose to stick out their thumb to hitch a ride with the first to stop,
Some wish they had the option,

Some choose to live life by the gun destroying lives of anybody who might get in the way,
Some yearn for another way,

I personally choose to ride a bike built for two,
That way I can share the ups and downs,
The rain and the sun,
And when it gets hard,
We can take turns pedaling,

Everybody should get that chance,
But the reality for some people is,
They’re not born with the privilege of choice.

You are doing fine; I liked the paradigm of the “bike built for two”. Keep up the effort, that’s the way we all perfect our skill. Also read other's work. Adeline
