Choice Of Words Poem by Tony Pinedo

Choice Of Words

Rating: 4.0

My eyes filled with tears, head in my hands as you express the words of your fears. I'll love you till my end of days here on earth, but you seem to think my words have no worth.

I still yearn to feel your touch, I try and convince you I love you so much. My heart isn't filled with lies and sin, your blinded by that bottle of gin. You thrash me with words of hate, my love for you is my families debate.

There is more then you just being my choice, feel for more then the words of my voice. I ask that you feel my compassion and tenderness, know your not alone in the wilderness. My words are love, let me introduce you too the Lord above.
