A baby boy is born in Bethlehem;
The Virgin Mary gives birth to her son;
This fruit of womb is by Holy Spirit;
His name is Immanuel - the ‘God with us'!
The Savior Christ is born on Christmas Day;
The Son of God is Word made flesh and God;
He brings to men of good will, joy and peace;
Some shepherds hear the news from angel choir.
The new-born king is King of kings and Lord;
He chose a birth in poverty and strife;
The Star of Bethlehem beckons three kings;
Wise men from East come to worship Jesus.
Christmas is a phenomenon anew;
The love of God is made incarnate thus;
This boy will grow in knowledge and wisdom;
He came to take the cross for mankind's sins!
