Christmas At The Mall Poem by Marilyn Lott

Christmas At The Mall

Rating: 1.0

Oh, the excitement of Christmas
So much we must do to get done
Some is very stressful, of course
And some truly IS a lot of fun

So much to do and so little time
Visiting our crowded local mall
Standing in long lines in stores
Tired babies often began to bawl

Sparkling decorations everywhere
Santa's on every single block
Shopping lists for everyone
Often have to stop and take stock

And then of course we see
Santa with a kid on his lap
Some are adorable little children
Others you just want to smack

Tension fills the air right now
Getting ready for that special day
Everyone trying to do everything
There is no time now to delay

I hope you enjoy your Christmas
Take time to pause and enjoy
Receive a gift from someone special
And goodwill we all can employ!
