An Australian Christmas turns it around
Those from the north know we are upside down
The temperature shows 30 degrees on the dial
And sunny days at the beach puts a smile all the while
We don't sit by a Yule log fire
And singing carols on a balmy night will transpire
Christmas is still a time of good cheer
Across the world for families all without fear
Children laughing with bright shiny faces
Playing with new toys in the sun in outside places
And you know each and every year
We are thankful for what we have held so dear.
