Christmas Trees Poem by Yvonne Rautenbach

Christmas Trees

Tree tops tower tipped with freeze
Lower branches drip beneath
Everywhere the squirrel sees
Frosted like a Christmas wreath
Misted rooftops frosted glasses
Winking as a flurry passes
Tree tops tower clip the breeze
Dripping through the lower leaves
Everywhere the Robin sees
A tangled bunch of silver sheaves
