Christmas Year Round Poem by Robert Stewart

It doesn't seem to matter what age we seem to be.
Christmas makes us happy, would you not agree?
We do a lot of partying, and share the love and cheer,
with a family get together and those we hold so dear.
Our hearts are filled with laughter and we care a little more,
it's funny how we feel that that is what Christmas is for.
If only we could celebrate Christmas all year long.
Some say "are you kidding, " that would be just wrong.
But, every day would be much better with love in the air,
helping one another and showing that we care.
The Christmas spirit all year long....I know it sounds so strange.
But our lives would be much better, so why not make the change?
As soon as Christmas is over, it's back to the same routine.
Of caring less of others, and even being mean.
So, next time when it's August and the heat is in the air,
tell them "Merry Christmas" and show them that you care.
Tell them you're having a party and you even bought them a gift.
They may not understand you, but no doubt you'll be a hit.
