Chuck It Poem by Clyde King

Chuck It

I'm going to give up trying.
Living is harder than dying.

I'll say goodbye to friends and kin
and say, "Chuck it, throw the towel in! "

I've lived three-score and nine,
so I think it's about time.

To just let go and throw in my hat,
to say, "I've had enough, that is that."

If there's something else, I'd love to know.
Otherwise, let's end this show.

Life can get old and so can you.
Let's bring the curtain down on this whoop-de-doo.

Hope of life lies within Seeking it is indeed must Life has many aspects Some good some bad That doesn't mean to give up Get up rise like phoenix From the very ashes that ruined To shine like sun brilliant bright. Seek light that always makes ways to enlightenment.
