Cinderella told me when I was young, one day my prince will come,
As far fetched as that sounds,
I knew he could be found,
As the years went on, so did my heart,
Giving it to guys who type it apart,
But then one day he finally showed,
Not in the shiny armor that I hoped,
But in the form of a southern man,
Not quite what I had in plan,
With that redneck style and southern voice,
He stole my heart I had no choice
He had only one request,
to give him my hand and make him a happy man,
With my head on his chest I said yes.
Joy will be mine cause now I'm his bride.

Beautiful romantic piece of poetry, well articulated and subtly penned from heart with conviction. The mighty feeling of love is a spiritual experience that appears unannounced - a voyage of pure bliss that affects one profoundly. A lovely poem written with insight. Thanks for sharing Tedra6.
