Cinna-2 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Cinna-2

Her crystal shaped heart appears like oasis,
Mid afternoon lagoon glimmers in slender margin,
Grinning border of thin vegetation with grazing expanse
Looks before the western fire red with quiet sun set
And stunning haze of dry eventide, high headed camels, temporal shelters.
Then the caravan songs, condensed lyre and thrust of endless darkness,
Cold shaft of wavy sands chilling the herds men draught
With snow white offering hands in curtained faces, close bosomed fairies,
Drowsy legs of late night dancers inviting lumbering slumber,
The abrupt droop at warm bed, doused seething charcoal of camp fire,
Silken doors, the huddle of goats, scent of vase rose,
Jerk of swindling fish and tempting haunt of hunting lips.
Here lost the river whose severed self like the fabled elf
Let all its tears be flowed to silent confine of marshy land
And its withered self as if still spells the last germen of hermit love
Never to be echoed in desert breast.
