Circle - Poem by Mike Snow

Slowly goes the night by me,
minate upon minate,
into eternity.
Hidden sleep,
where have you been?
No peace before days begin.
Through my window,
the moon laughs at me.
As darknesses silence,
turns to a banshee.
The tree outside,
he watches me,
and shows the way,
for everyman.
And like this tree,
can we also await.
That after winters sleep,
comes the spring awakening.

Muhsam geht die nacht vorbei,
minute an minute,
bis ins ewigkeit.
Versuchte schlaf,
wo bleibs du hin?
Keine ruhr vor tages anfang.
Durch meine fenster,
lacht der mond mich voll an.
Dunkheits schweigen
drahts zum gerull.
Die baum dort draussen,
er schaut mich an,
und zeigt dem weg,
fur jeder man.
Und wie dieses baum,
konnen wir auch erwarten,
dass nach winter schlaff,
kommt fruhlings erwachen.
