I take such precautions,
And envision what’s ahead,
From the moments that I dream,
I then awake in my bed,
From subtle soft slumber,
Reliving a life that’s now dead,
As thoughts creep through my mind,
I rewrite the words I once said,
Reword and rephrase,
The most intense of a maze,
As I try to escape,
I become lost in a daze.
