Circumstances Poem by Kara Trece

Circumstances

Needing to feel the follow-through. No longer able to confide. Yearning to find that inner peace, dared to listen then abide. Breathing hard with every sigh. Injured by absence, exposed together we unwind.

The pattern weaves and twisted in. Gracing my presence yet again. Knowing you really never wanted to give in. Happy for the encounter all over again. So the cycle never ends. Already over before it begins.

Selfish motives the predator within, separating the mind limb from limb. Not being able to conceive or extend. Perseverance and stamina sadly wins. Carefree and happy to pretend, living in the moment as if it would never end. Experiencing the wonderment of our bliss. Never saw it coming my dissemblers kiss!

The pattern weaved twisted in. Knowing you never wanted it to end. Happy for the encounter yet again. So the cycle never mends. Already over, it ended before it began.
