Cityscapes: (Improvisation 10 04 2004) Poem by Lee B. Mack

Cityscapes: (Improvisation 10 04 2004)

Rating: 5.0

God wept the seas we walk around
lands of continent man divide the charity
the sea’s covers spread over naked kingdoms
like condoms stretched over revived seed
through shoots of enzymes
moonlight and leisure mate and fall asleep
with the noise of the family games still roiling
like trunks full of attic toys looking for love.

I like the use of strong images in this poem. Your first line captures the imagination.
