The day civilization shot our legs
We desecrated the sacredness of Mmiri Oji
We deflowered the flowers of our land
And fought the powers that be

The day it rocked our hearts
We questioned the authority of the gods
Bared the lie in their truth
And sang to the Lord our God

The other day Ani spoke
And we laughed
For the earth is the Lord's
And its fullness thereof

Anya Ogidi challenged our might
And God came for the fight
Agaba edu flashed him his light
And he joined the night in a flight
For we're victorious
