Clad In Black Poem by Sumita Jetley

Clad In Black

Evening falls, black robe and tea,
Quiet study, just Shams and me.
Jasmine whispers, incense light,
In solitude, I seek the night.

Beads in hand, I softly tread,
Paths where Shams' feet once led.
His words a lamp, his thoughts a guide,
In each quiet moment, his spirit beside.

Reflections deep on divine love's role,
Seeking the light within my soul.
Typing away, his teachings clear,
In every line, I hold him near.

A mystic's wisdom, across the ages,
Fills my heart, inspires pages.
In this quiet space, I find,
Shams of Tabrizi's enduring mind.
