Clandestine Poem by Martyn Grindrod

Clandestine

Rating: 5.0

Clandestine

Meet me at Noon
'neath hanging branches
Where sun hides shine
Clandestine

Chance encounters
On lay by's of roads
Incognito disguises
Spineless toads

Best kept secrets
Another stolen kiss
Hotel meetings
Furtive trysts

Hiding in the shadows
Morals quashed
One false movement
Marriage lost

thank you

Honest utterances set aside for sober reflection. I love the rhyme of profundity and reality. Beautiful writing, you're very talented. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
