Clap - Clap Times - Poem by Douglas Scotney

'Clatter' describes the sound
of four or more clap-clap shoes
being walked in on hard ground
The sound of two is clap-clap
clap-clap clap-clap clap-
clap clap-clap clap-clap clap
-clap clap-clap

A clap-clap shoe walker can't worry much
about what's behind
with clap-clap times
in the mind.

Topic(s) of this poem: noise, walking
