Clash Of Civilization Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Clash Of Civilization

In a world divided, a clash of civilization
Where cultures collide, in constant agitation
Clinging to beliefs, with unwavering conviction
Fueling the fire, of this never-ending friction
Lines are drawn, between east and west
Tradition versus progress, put to the test
Ideologies clash, in a battle for domination
Breeding hatred and fear, in this endless confrontation
Egos clash, in a game of power and control
History repeats, as the story unfolds
Each claiming superiority, in their own right
Blinded by pride, they fail to see the light
The clash of civilization, a never-ending war
Leaving behind, a trail of blood and gore
Families torn apart, by the hands of hate
As they fight for their own, it's always too late
But amidst the chaos, there's still hope
For love and understanding, to help us cope
We must learn to respect, our differences and views
For only then, can we find peace and choose
To break this cycle, of perpetual strife
And build a world, where all can thrive
Let's embrace diversity, instead of fear
And end this clash of civilization, once and for all, my dear.
