Class Clown Poem by Weldon Davis

Class Clown

Class Clown
Clown of my class
I made fart noises
With my armpits
Just to get a laugh
These days I'm still making you laugh
The class became life
And you laugh at mine
Laugh at my torment
Don't you read the signs?
That say
'Don't feed the animals'
Don't laugh at me
Nor cry for me either
Just take these words to heart
Cause
We were never equal
At first
I did it to lift your spirits
Now you do it
To keep me down
Laugh
Laugh
Laugh
At this
Class clown
