Clean Clothes Poem by John Sensele

Clean Clothes

St Francis de Sales College
The ivory tower of erudition
Moulds minds into a new cognitive edition
Immersing them into blooms of knowledge

Society laps up with gratitude
When wheels of industry minds spin
Ensuring each gear, each pin
Grooms the right habitude and attitude

The global village needs
To cater for poor and rich
Each receiving benefits which
In the end mow weeds

Economies loathes
In order to function well
At full capacity when the bell
Rings for the poor to wear clean clothes.
