Clean Heart Poem by Mohammad Younus

Clean Heart

A clean heart,
Unblurred by hot blows,
Thinning the weeds of the mind.

Ancient,
Not sown,
Wild growth,
Fed by Wisdom's bloom.

Illusion and superstition,
Rooted in the mind,
Muddling fact with fiction,
Illogical concepts—
Leave them behind.
Faulty, limited thoughts,
Throw them out the window.

Ancient rhetoric,
Fear-based propaganda.
The Truth on high,
Commanding adherence,
While earth-bound voices
Demand compliance.
Nothing more.

True power—
The power that rules the roost,
Few control the evil logic,
Mindless acceptance
Of what's told and sold.

The light of wisdom
For those who follow
The divine command,
The divine intelligence.

But charlatans all,
Misleading, astray,
Claiming knowledge,
Claiming wisdom,
Where none can be found.

Nothing!
Wipe the heart clean,
Push the devils
Of your own making
Out of your heart.

Think beyond the box,
Follow the divine intelligence.
