Clearing The Mist Poem by Margaret Cox

Clearing The Mist

‘Tis the waiting heart that smiles beauty ignites
And misty eyes clear as darkness turns to light
Wandering shadows fade into memories past
As tentacles of hope softly reach out at last
Choose this moment to let go of yesterday
Journey forward in life, focus on the new today.

Let gentle waters sparkle in bright illumination
Softly tread the path to a brand new destination
Watch the haze of confusion lift and float away
And beautiful colours burst in dazzling display
Taste the delights of budding fruits perfection
And feel the joy that comes with loving affection.

The minds eye has no desire for earthly measure
More the simple enjoyment of heavenly pleasure.
