Clinch Poem by Cyriac Maliakkal

Clinch

She was desolated and deserted from
Her husband.
No one had supported her
They knew her and knew her ways.
Some one had pained and asked
His husband for her rights.
The man who had swallowed
Pleasures from his mouth.
Took the cream of pain and he pasted
That on his forehead.
Head was ached
He could not listen anything at
First and later.
She was settled at nearest place.
An old woman asked him to
Call back his spouse.
He vomitted vulgar words;
Stamped the curse of him as
Poured from his face.
She was allowed to live in the
Happiness of herself.
They did neither divorce nor remarriage.
