Clockwork Assylum Poem by David Mackay

Clockwork Assylum

my life slowy ticks and ticks away.
im trapped in reallity, no more dreaming life astray.
as sad as it is, i admit defeat, i followed the crowds, and bowed at their feet.
that was the biggest mistake i could make.
decieved by drugs, now i cant make them go away...
my life has no value i wish i could die....
sometimes i just sit and feel like i could cry....
dont follow my path.
this is not a matter of which to laugh.....
it ruined my life....
now the clock has stopped ticking....
for the time is up.
a life unfulfilled.
my batteries have run out.
now what u choose is your choice.
but choose wisely because u only have one chance.
life always looks good at the first glance.
tick tock tick tock....ticking and rotting away....
tick tock, tick tock, drugs are the fight u can never win
tick tock tick tock, the clock will always win!
the clock will always win.....
