Phantom Of Sorrows Poem by David Mackay

Phantom Of Sorrows

The Phantom's will be done.
Forever he said, but she thought it was fun.
Committed on the day of March 28th.
It was a cursed marrige but he had faith.
She had took his every last dime.
She bought a mansion, it was like stealing only not a crime.
Forever I Said, and promises I keep!
She shattered the ring on her finger.
It was fun while it lasted, but it's over I figure.
But before I left him, I had one last dinner.
And it put me to sleep.
Forever i said, and promises i keep.
Our love was tainted, as the food we had to eat.
Our last breath indeed was rather meek.
FOREVER I SAID, AND PROMISES I KEEP.
FOREVER I SAID, AND PROMISES I KEEP.

~(and so they laid side by side till the end of time) ~
