Everybody isn't your friend
Even if a friend request they did send,
Just because they like your likes
And they enjoy the pictures of your hikes.
Just because when they around you both laugh
When they are strolling the memories of your path,
Maybe a dollar or advice to them you did lend
Doesn't mean that they are your friend.
People pretend so very well
At the end of the day the truth does prevail,
In this world of both give and take
You sadly find friends and promises and love are fake.
Real situations will expose people who they are
Even if you believe that they are up to par,
So, before giving a soulful redemption
Pay very close attention.
