Closed Minded Poem by Brandon Owens

Closed Minded

Stiff senses stimulate the surrounding secrets
Kick crazy culprits so we can keep it
Buy bread, break bread, just feed them
Lonely little left out forgotten lamb
Struck down sorted out stick the blame
The kid couldn't keep counting sheep
But boys don't bury their buddies
Locked lips prevent love from leaking
Point is people procrastinate postulation
Justify injustice, just to expand jurisdiction
Handed down howling husk of human
Discarded, disregarded, dust to dust pieces
Persistently purifying putrid politicians
Jumping for joy at the journey to jubilation
Hypocrites head home for the holidays
Doesn't mean a demon deserves dominion
