Clouds Poem by Clive Holmes

Clouds

Rating: 4.5

Where is the light, pushing out the darkness,
crepuscular rays piercing my heart
slowly, seeping, weeping.

The brightness is clear
but fleeting.

Warmth blankets, envelops,
leaves me cold
again.

Mist passes over,
turning the daylight
back into night.
